The Iranian military commanders and health organization officials have evaluated Iran-Mall's facilities to set up a 3000-bed care center in their visit from IranMall's exhibition center.
As IranMall declared its preparedness for setting up a specialized center to treat coronavirus patients, today, the first meeting for cooperation was held in which The General Staff of The Armed Forces, army and Health Organization officials were present, IranMall public affairs reported.
IranMall's exhibition center with an area of over 483,000 square feet, has now been chosen as the care center.
Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi (The Coordinator Deputy of Iran's Military), Brigadier General Doctor Behzad Moazzeni (Chief of The Ground Military Health Office), Doctor Araqizade (General Staff of The Armed Forces Health official) and at last, Doctor Tavakkoli (The Deputy of Tehran's Anti-Corona Headquarters) were present in today's meeting and paid a visit to IranMall's exhibition center.
Doctor Araqizade briefly reported the Armed Forces actions and said: "When national duty requires action, there will no longer be a difference between the private and governmental sectors. Even during the 8-year imposed war, the private sector was actively present in the scene. In this sensitive situation, we are grateful for IranMall's sense of responsibility and we appreciate it."
As Doctor Tavakkoli -The Deputy of Tehran's Health Organization- completed his tour around the exhibition center, he explained the actions taken by The Health Organization to fight the coronavirus, and emphasized: "All governmental and non-governmental organizations are cooperating to stand against the coronavirus." He then added: " 'Social Responsibility' has been IranMall's motto from the first day of opening; and declaring its preparedness to set up a care center is also a step toward this motto to help the government fight this virus off. This complex can be a powerful assist for The Health Organization to rise against the coronavirus."
