Iranmall welcomed the first night of Muharram and the days of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), by holding ta’aziah.

Ta’azieh group under the supervision of professor "Ahmad Azizi" will host those interested in ritual and religious shows in the nights of Muharram. On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, coinciding with the first night of Muharram, 1445, this group performed the Abbas(AS) Ta’azieh for audience.

Those who are interested can see Ta’azieh in Mahan Garden from 6:00 p.m. until 28 July.

In Iranian religious culture Ta’azieh is categorized as Condolence Theater inspired by a historical and religious event, the tragic death of Imam Hussein (AS), symbolizing epic spirit and resistance.
