A five-kilometer malathon with prizes of two hundred million tomans sent 300 runners on a five-kilometer race course in Iranmall. The first Iranian marathon was held on Friday, November 21, 2025, with stations designed and precise markings along the route, and images of the runners' presence in Iranmall were widely reflected in the media.

At the end of the race, runners from the Iranian national teams came in first place in both the men's and women's categories.

Samir Eghbali won the men's malathon by completing the course in under 15 minutes, and Parisa Arab won first place in the girls' category by completing the 5,000 meters in 17 minutes and 13 seconds.
